Central Food Technological Research Institute(CFTRI), Mysore (A constituent laboratory of Council of Scientific and Industrial research, New Delhi) came into existence during 1950 with the great vision of its founders, and a network of inspiring as well as dedicated scientists who had a fascination to pursue in-depth research and development in the areas of food science and technology.
CSIR-Central Food Technological Research Institute, Mysore a constituent national laboratory of Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), invites applications from meritorious candidates who have a passion for pursuing R&D related to Science & Technology for recruitment as Project Fellow (PF). One (01) Post of Project Fellow is offered under the 12th Five Year Plan Project entitled “Nano-materials: Applications and Impact on Safety, Health and Environment (NanoSHE)-BSC-0112”. The eligibility criteria and other requirements are given below:

No of Post : One
Desired Profile : First Class M.Sc. in any of the following subject areas: Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biophysics, Biosciences, Chemistry, Nanotechnology or First Class B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent in Biotechnology/Bio-Chemical Engineering with NET/GATE qualification with valid score card.
Preferred : Practical experience in any of the above mentioned subject areas
Emoluments : Consolidated Fellowship of Rs.16,000/- per month for a maximum period of 15 months or period of project, whichever is earlier, not extendable beyond this period
Age limit : The upper age limit for applying for the award of Project Fellow shall be 28 years (as on 24.11.2015), which is relaxed upto 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to Schedule Castes, Schedule Tribe, Women, Physically handicapped (PH) and OBCs
