The Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB) is designed to be an international institution of excellence in Biotechnology, with intimate contributions from regional countries as well as from academic institutions worldwide. RCB will provide a globally competitive platform for interdisciplinary research & education at biotech interface of engineering & medicine, chemistry & physics, Agriculture& climate science to empower human resources to drive biotech innovations.
- Title of Project : Structural investigations of surface nano scale assembly in a gut bacterium
- Position : Research Associate
- No of Post : Two
- Duration : Initially for 1 year and may be extended on annual evaluation basis till the completion of the project.
- Desired Profile : Ph.D. degree in Natural Sciences, minimum 60% marks in M.Sc or equivalent degree and below 35 years of age
- Preferred : Prior experience at the PhD level in molecular biology, Biochemistry, and biophysics/structural biology with a strong motivation for a career in research is preferable.
Strong PhD level training in recombinant Protein cloning, expression, purification and macromolecular structure determination by x-ray crystallography would be desirable. Either/both qualifications should be substantiated by published papers.

- Fellowship : Rs. 22,000/- p.m. + HRA @ 30%
