The University of Delhi is a public central university located in Delhi, India. It is wholly funded by the Government of India. Established in 1922, it offers courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The University of Delhi is a premier institute of higher education in India. It was established in 1922 as a unitary, teaching and residential university by an Act of the Central Legislative Assembly. Five departments namely chemistry, geology, Zoology, sociology and history have been awarded the status of the Centres of Advanced Studies.
Applications are invited for following temporary post in the DBT research project, entitled “Anticipation in genes: Molecular, Physiology and behavioral correlates of response of circa-annual clocks to seasons in night-migratory song birds”.

- Desired Profile : Ph. D. in Zoology/ Life Science with experience of working in the area of molecular biology/ Genomics using vertebrate model systems, and with expertise of molecular techniques including in-situ hybridization, transcriptome analysis
etc., as evidenced by research publications. Those who have submitted the Ph. D. thesis and fulfill the aforementioned qualifications may also be considered. In any case, preference will be given to a candidate who has a good knowledge and experience of working in the area of the research project.
