The Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC) is the state-of-the-art R&D satellite of the Tata Memorial Centre (TMC), which also includes under its umbrella the Tata Memorial Hospital (TMH), the largest cancer hospital in Asia. ACTREC has the mandate to function as a national centre for treatment, research and education in cancer. TMC is an autonomous grant-in-aid institution of the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India. It is registered under the Societies Registration Act (1860) and the Bombay Public Trust Act (1950). Its Governing Council is headed by the Chairman, Atomic Energy Commission, Government of India.
Walk in Interview for Research Fellow position at ACTREC, Mumbai
- Position : Research Fellow
- Title of Project :“Characterizing the ability of HPV E2 mutant in inducing apoptosis in HPV positive cell line and in mouse model”.
- PI : Dr. Kakoli Bose
- Duration of the Project : 6 months from the date of appointment.
- Consolidated Salary : Rs. 15,600/- p.m.
- Desired Profile : Master’s degree in Bioinformatics, Biochemistry, Biotechnology and Biological sciences from a recognized university with not less than 55% aggregate marks.
- Experience : Prior experience in modelling, Protein-Protein/ligand docking, Molecular dynamics simulation required. Knowledge in database development will be preferred.
- Job Description : To perform Protein modelling, Protein-Protein/ligand docking, Molecular dynamics simulation. Knowledge of database development will be preferred. Knowledge of basic Bioinformatics tools and languages like C, C++, Perl, Java required.
