About the Institute:
On 16th September 2002 an Act was passed by the Government of Uttar Pradesh resulting in a major milestone in change in the history of the institution in converting and upgrading it as Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj Medical University. On the demand of the general public and more than 40,000 Georgians the world over, teachers and students of the University, the Government of Uttar Pradesh in the last week of October 2003 decided to revert the name of the medical university from C.S.M. Medical University to K.G. Medical University.

Applications are invited for the post of Senior Research Assistant in the project entitled, "Bacopa monnieri as Neuroprotectant against Neuroinflammation- a causative factor for Parkinson's disease", sponsored by Council of Science and Technology, Lucknow under Principal Investigator Dr. A. A. Mahdi, Prof. and Head, King George's Medical College, Lucknow.

Essential Qualifications: M.Sc Life Sciences/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology with atleast two years research experience, preferably in the field of neurobiology.
Salary: Rs. 20,000/- per month
Duration: One year extendable based on performance of the candidate
How to Apply:
Applications along with attested copies of degrees, marksheets, experience certificates and testimonials shall be submitted in the office of the PI till 4 pm on 29th February, 2016. Interview will be held on 03/03/2016 at 12.30 pm. in the Department of Biochemistry, King George's Medical University, Lucknow.
Candidates are directed to report for interview with all relevant documents in original. No separate call letters shall be issued and no separate TA/DA shall be paid for attending the interview. The selected candidate cannot claim for regular appointment as the post is co-terminus with the project.
