The Research Group of Professor WSR Martin R. Larsen at the Department of Biochemistry and molecular biology, University of Southern Denmark (SDU), is looking for a highly talented, creative and motivated postdoctoral fellow to join our team of talented students and postdocs, specifically aiming at developing quantitative proteomics and phosphoproteomic technologies for characterizing signalling mechanisms that regulate mucosal adaptive immune responses in homeostasis and inflammation, with a primary focus on the gastrointestinal tract.

Project Title: Regional immune-modulation of mucosal inflammation (RIMMI)

Qualifications:
A successful candidate would have a:

  • PhD degree in Biochemistry, Cell Biology, molecular biology or a related field and is highly motivated and innovative.
  • Significant experience in functional proteomics, PTM analysis (especially phosphoproteomics), LC-based mass spectrometry and Bioinformatics is preferable.
  • Knowledge in immune Cell Biology and signalling is a significant merit.
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to interact socially and scientifically with other laboratory members and collaborators are essential.
  • Previous postdoc experience and a strong publication record are also strong merits.
  • The position is limited to two years' duration.
