National AIDS Research Institute [NARI] was established in October 1992 in Bhosari, Pune on a seven acre plot. The Institute has progressively expanded its activities in various aspects of research on HIV and AIDS through infra-structural development, capacity building & research programmes. The present infrastructure includes the Institute housed in a 28024 sq. mtr space, residential accomadation for the staff, a power plant to ensure uninterrupted power supply and an incinerator for safe disposal of bio-waste.
Applications are invited for the post of Research Assistant under "Micro Finance Study" as detailed below.
Position : Project Research Assistant
No of Post : One
Pay : Rs 27,000/- pm
Desired Profile :M.Sc in Microbiology/Medical Microbiology/Biochemistry/Virology with two years of experience in research or diagnostic laboratory
Preferred : Experience in handling of DBS samples and techniques like elisa
Job Profile : To store and assess quality of dried blood spot (DBS) samples, to carry pout assays using them, maintain data base of sample, prepare reports
Age : 35
