Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the position of Project fellow (PF) to work in a Research Projects with thrust area “ Biodiversity of Microbes and higher plants and their conservation from Western Ghats in Karnataka” sanctioned to Department of Botany, Karnatak University, Dharwad by University Grants Commission , New Delhi, under special Assistance Programme-DSA Phase-I (2015-2020)
Required qualification : M.ScBotany/M.Sc. Microbiology/M.Sc. Biotechnology (with a minimum of 55%)
Desirable : NET/GATE/SLET qualified/ Research Experience in the area of Mycology/ Microbiology/Biodiversity/Tissue culture/Development Biology.
Positions available : Two
Fellowship : Rs. 14,000=00 + HRA for first Two years and Rs. 16000=00 + HRA third year onwards for Non-Net. Rs. 16,000=00 + HRA for first two years and Rs. 18,000 + HRA from third year for NET cleared candidates.
Duration : 4 Years + or till the termination of the Project.
