The institute had a humble beginning in 1954 in the form of a Contraceptive Testing Unit. Over the years, the Institute has made significant strides to develop newer contraceptives, both for the male and the female; generate information on the safety, efficacy and acceptability of available contraceptives in Indian population; and elucidate basic mechanisms underlying reproductive physiology.

Desired Profile : Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Zoology / Microbiology/any other relevant area of Biology from recognized university with NET qualified or Graduate Degree in Professional Course with NET* qualification or Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course. OR Post Graduate degree in Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Zoology / Microbiology/any other relevant area of Biology with or without NET-LS.
Preferred : One year experience in molecular biology and Cell Biology
Age : 28 Years
Duration : 3 years
