A post-doctoral researcher with solid expertise in Microbiology, molecular biology and Cell Biology is sought for a two to three year period starting in december 2014 or january 2015 to participate in an advanced ERC project on host-microbiota interactions in the laboratory of Intestinal Immunity headed by Nadine Cerf-Bensussan at Institut Imagine in Paris.

The selected candidate will be a highly motivated researcher with an interest in host-bacterial interactions and mucosal immunology and solid expertise in Microbiology, molecular biology and Cell Biology The goal is to dissect the interactions of Segmented Filamentous bacterium with epithelial cells at a cellular and molecular levels using an in vitro coculture system recently developed in the laboratory. The successful candidate should have an expertise in the construction of genomic expression libraries, in epithelial cell cultures and in the analysis of signaling by imaging and biochemical approaches.
