The Micobials Discovery Team is offering an internship opportunity for an undergraduate or recently graduated student to join this effort. In this role you will perform lab experiments and document results for the generation of data in support of microbial-based products for crop improvement.

Job Description:
- Applicants will be currently working towards a BSc. in Microbiology / molecular biology or related field with plans to graduate no earlier than August 2016 or with plans to continue on to an advanced degree.
- You will soon be expected to work independently within a team environment.
- Ability to record experimental procedures and data in a clear, accurate manner is essential along with effective communication both verbal and written.
- An eagerness to learn and willingness to improve is a must.
- Hands-on laboratory-based practical experience in one or both areas is required.
- The role will encompass a broad range of molecular biology and Microbiology techniques including, but not limited to DNA extraction, aseptic culturing and plating of microbial strains, cryopreservation and preparation of strains for shipment.
