Central Institute for Cotton Research (CICR) is central research institute established (in 1976) by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research to promote long term research efforts in cotton production and provide support and conduct applied research on cotton with the active involvement of State Universities.Its headquarters are located in Nagpur and the other two regional units are located at Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu and Sirsa, Haryana.
The eligible candidates are invited to appear for Walk-in-Interview for the temporary (contractual) position of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) under “ Entomopathogenic-endophytes mediated plant defense as a novel approach for the management of boll worms in cotton” under (DST)

Desired Profile :M.Sc. in Agricultural Entomology/M.ScZoology/M.ScMicrobiology Desirable Qualification Working knowledge in computer
Pay : Rs.16,000/- + HRA 20% p.m.
Upper Age Limit : 35 years for men & 40 yrs for Women respectively, as on the date of interview.
Relaxable in the case of SC/ST/OBC & other exempted categories of candidates as per rules.
