The Central Institute of Post-Harvest Engineering and Technology (CIPHET) was established on 29 December 1989 at the PAU Campus, Ludhiana, Punjab, India as a nodal institute to undertake lead researches in the area of the post-harvest engineering and technology appropriate to agricultural production catchment and agro-industries.
Applications are invited for engagement of one Research Associate one SRF in a project of ICAR National Fellow Project at Central Institute of Post-Harvest Engineering and Technology, Ludhiana, Punjab
- Project title : Development of food biopolymer based micro and nano scale delivery for bioactive ingredients in functional foods
- Position : Research Associate
- No of Post : 1
- Desired Profile : PhD in Chemical Engineering/Biochemistry/Food Science/Food Technology or relevant disciplines like Chemistry/Microbiology/Pharmacy with experience in encapsulation and controlled release of active ingredients OR M.Sc in above subjects with 4 years/5 years of Bachelor's degree, having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average,
with at least two year of research experience as evidenced from fellowship/associateship/training/other engagements. Published research papers will be desirable
- Preferred : Published research papers, exposure to conducting basic studies on encapsulation and controlled release of active ingredients and its optimization, design and development of processing equipment fluid flow, AUTO CAD/Pro E and statistical analysis software package
- Fellowship : Rs 40,000/- + HRA (Rs 38000 + HRA for M.Sc's)
- Age : 40 years for men and 45 years for women
- Project title : Development of food biopolymer based micro and nano scale delivery for bioactive ingredients in functional foods

- Desired Profile : Master degree in the relevant subject with 4 years/5 years bachelor's degree. Candidate having post graduate degree in basic science with 3 years bachelor's degree and 2 years Master's degree should have NET qualified
- Preferred : Published research papers,exposure to conducting basic studies on encapsulation and controlled release of active ingredients and its optimization, design and development of processing equipment fluid flow, AUTO CAD/Pro E and statistical analysis software package
- Fellowship : Rs 25,000/- + HRA
- Age : 35 years for men and 40 years for women
