Position 1
- Name of the post :- Scientific Officer (DNA) Class-II (Gazetted) (on Contract basis) in State
- Forensic Science Laboratory
- No. of post(s) : 01 (UR)
- Pay band: Rs. 10300-34800/- + Rs. 4400/- (Grade Pay)
- (Fixed contractual amount: Rs. 14,700/- per month).
- AGE: Between 18 and 45 years.
Essential Qualification:-
- M.Sc. 2nd Class in molecular biology/ Human Biology/ Human Genetics/ Bio-Technology/ Microbiology/ Forensic Science / Physical Anthropology / Bio-Chemistry or equivalent from a recognized university with evidence of specialization in DNA analysis / Profiling or its equivalent from a recognized University.
- Three years post M.Sc. experience in research training and analytical work in one of the above or allied subjects. (Research work done for doing Ph.D. degree shall be counted in total experience).
Desirable Qualification-
- Ph.D. degree with experience of working in DNA Division of a Forensic Science Laboratory.
- Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.
Position 2
- Name of the post - Sericulture Officer, Class-II (Gazetted) (on Contract basis)
- No. of posts : 02 (General)
- Fixed contractual amount : Rs. 14,500/- p.m.
- Pay band : Rs. 10300-34800/- + Rs. 4200/- (G.P.)
- AGE: Between 18 and 45 years.
- Essential Qualification:- M.Sc. degree in Agriculture / Zoology/ Botany of recognized University or its equivalent with training in branch of Sericulture.
Or
B.Sc. (Agriculture) of recognized University or its equivalent with training in Sericulture plus 2 years experience in Sericulture Operations.
- Desirable Qualification:- Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.
