JRF required in "Chronic myeloid leukemia” project at NIIH, Mumbai | M.Sc Life Science/Biotech eligible

National Institute of Haematology conduct basic  and clinical research for the benefit of society and  ultimately the nation. Newer areas developed  included molecular genetics and prenatal diagnosis of hemoglobinopathies,  hemostasis and thrombosis, cytogenetics and  molecular cytogenetics,   cell  biology applications in hematology and stem cell research. 

Application are invited for  the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a project funded  by the  (CSIR) “ Study  of single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) of multiple candidate genes (ABCB1. ABCG2, CYP3A4, CYP3aa5, SLCO1B3, AGP1, SLC22A1)  in  Imatinib resisance chronic myeloid leukemia.”  at the National Institute of Immunohaematology (ICMR). The post  is purely temporary.

  • Position : Junior Research Fellow
  • No of Post : One
  • Desired : First class Master’s degree in Life Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Genetics/ Applied Biology. Those having experience in cell culture, human cytogenetics and molecular biology techniques and candidates cleared  NET/GATE will be preferred.
  • Stipend :  Rs. 16000/- + HRA
  • Age : 28 years
