Maharshi Dayanand University, ab initio established as Rohtak University, Rohtak, came into existence by an Act No. 25 of 1975 of the Haryana Legislative Assembly in 1976 with the objective to promote inter-disciplinary higher education and research in the fields of environmental, ecological and life sciences. It was rechristened as Maharshi Dayanand University in 1977 after the name of a great visionary and social reformer, Maharshi Dayanand.
Applications are invited for the post of one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for a period of oneyear (extendable to one more year) in a UGC-SAP project in Biotechnology sanctioned by the UGC, New Delhi.

- Desired Profile : M. Sc in any branch of Life Science with at least 55% marks.
- Preferred : The candidate having experience in molecular biology and who have qualified CSIR-UGC NET/JRF will be preferred.
- Emoluments : The fellowship will be given as per UGC rules
