- Profile Summary : To carryout Quality Assurance activities at NDDB R&D laboratory
Key role :
- Preparing quality assurance protocols and documents for all laboratory tests undertaken in the laboratory.
- Perusal of all the test reports and arranging for clearance/rejection.
- Training all the laboratory staff on QC and QA procedures
- Arranging regular audit as per pre-planned programme.
- Co-ordinate with auditors of accreditation agencies for regular auditing.
- Preparing reports pertaining to non-compliance and compliance.
- Co-ordinate with respective scientists / functional areas for resolving the non-compliance and prepare appropriate documents.
- Ensuring proper up-keep of documents, validation reports, calibration reports etc.
- Co-ordinate with various agencies /scientists for calibration and validation of equipments.
- Act as bio-safety officer ensuring proper handling of micro-organisms, reagents and disposal of laboratory waste as per mandatory procedures.
- To train laboratory staff in bio-safety procedures and to ensure non-breach of bio-safety protocols. Ensuring documentation of all required activities that are being carried out as per laid down procedures.
Experience : 2 - 5 year(s)
Desired Profile : The incumbent should be MSc in Microbiology/ Biotechnology; with at least 2 years’ working experience in Microbiology/Biotechnology laboratory in the field of research/ diagnosis with proficiency in Quality Assurance and documentation.
Pay Band : 15600-39100
