The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), New Delhi, the apex body in India for the formulation, coordination and promotion of biomedical research, is one of the oldest medical research bodies in the world.
Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow from life sciences background for ICMR funded project entitled “Genome wide analysis of genetic alterations and gene expression profile in hormone sensitive and hormone refractory prostate cancer”, under Principal Investigator Dr. Anju Bansal, Scientist D, National Institute of Pathology (ICMR).

- Desired Profile : Masters’ degree in Life Sciences with NET qualification / ICMR JRF/ UGC/CSIR. Should have throughout first class and experience with molecular biology techniques
- Preferred : Candidate with research experience and good working knowledge of basic molecular biology techniques is desirable.
- Age Limit : Upper age limit is 28 years, relaxable for SC/ST/OBC persons as per Govt. of India rules.

Those candidates who are working in Govt. Organizations/Public undertaking/autonomous body should bring a No Objection Certificate from his/her employer. It may be noted that no TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. It may also be noted that there is no provision of hostel facility at the National Institute of Pathology.
