The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) is an autonomous organisation under the Department of Agricultural Research and Education (DARE), Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India. Formerly known as Imperial Council of Agricultural Research, it was established on 16 July 1929 as a registered society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 in pursuance of the report of the Royal Commission on Agriculture. The ICAR has its headquarters at New Delhi.
A Walk-in-Interview will be held at ICAR-Central Tobacco Research Institute, Rajahmundry on 10.03.15 at 11.00 AM for the following positions of SRF for the project entitled "Characterization, value addition and utilization of tabacco seed oil and its by-products"
- Position : SRF
- No of Posts : 2
- Duration of the Project : One year initially and may be extended further and will be coterminated with the
termination of- the project or earlier based on the performance
- Desired Profile : M.Sc degree in Biochemistry from a recognized and reputed university
- Preferred : Experience in analytical knowledge in phytochemicals and use of GC, HPLC and GCMS Instruments
- Salary : Rs.16000/- + 10% HRA
