Job Description :
- Conducting research into subject areas required and listing of titles for a specific genre/sub-speciality identifying the market demand.
- Work with the author from conception of a title to completion of the title.
- Liaising with the authors regularly to ensure that they meet deadlines for the delivery of specific chapters or sections of their manuscripts.
- Once an author finishes his manuscript, analyse every part of it, including technical, intellectual, style and organization of the content and provide suggestions, if any.
- Point out inconsistencies, deviations or errors to the author rectify or identify strategies for correcting these errors.
- Assess if the finished manuscript will make sense to its intended audience.
- Provide constructive feedback to authors and to the organization.
