The CSIR-Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology,Palampur (CSIR-IHBT) is one of the National Institute under the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research which is an Autonomous Body. It is located on a 250 acres of land with the backdrop of snow-covered peaks of Dhauladhar Range in salubrious climate. The Institute is engaged in research and technology development programmes for sustainable management of bioresources of the Himalayas.
Walk in Interviews are scheduled to be held on the dates as mentioned for selection of suitable candidates in the following areas under the different CSIR networked and external funded sponosred project.
- Project title : 1."Introduction adaptation and value addition of important medicinal and aromatic plants in trans Himalayan region" 2."Characterization and consloidation of Hippophae genetic resources and propagation of elite genotypes for varietal evaluation"
- Position : Junior Research Fellow
- No of Post : 2
- Age : 28 years as on 18.02.15
- Stipend : Rs 16000/-pm + HRA
- Desired Profile : M.Sc in Agriculture/Horticulture/Botany/Environmental Science with 55% marks and ICAR/CSIR-UGC-NET/LS qualified
Eligible candidates may appear for "Walk-in-Interview(s)" on the dates, time and place mentioned above
alongwith an application on prescribed format which is available on the CSIR-IHBT, website ..www.ihbt.res.in.. alongwith, attested photocopies of testimonials of their age, educational qualifications, experience, reserved category, etc. at the time of interview. The positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the duration of the projects. There will be no right implicit or explicit for regular position or any post in CSIR-IHBT, whatsoever. Candidates must also bring with them original certificates of testimonials at the time of the appearing for interview failing which he/she will not be allowed to appear for interview. No TA will be paid for attending the interview.
