IISER, Mohali was established in 2007 by the Government of India, through the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), to carry out research in frontier areas of science and to provide quality science education at the undergraduate and postgraduate level.
IISER-Mohali (Department of Biological sciences) desires to engage PROJECT ASSISTANT on purely temporary basis on contract under the Wellcome Trust-DBT India Alliance sponsored research project at IISER-Mohali
- Project Title : Role of Small GTP-Binding Protein Arl8 and its Effectors in Regulating Lysosomal Trafficking and Microbial Killing
- Position : Project Assistant
- No. of Positions : 1
- Desired Profile : M.Sc. or equivalent in Biology,
Life Sciences, molecular biology, Microbiology& Genetics with a good academic record. Prior experience in molecular biology techniques and Protein-Protein interactions techniques is essential. Experience in working with Bioinformatics and mammalian cell culture is an added advantage.
- Emoluments : As per DST/DBT rules
- Duration : Initially for 6 months and extendable for 1 year
