- Desired Profile : First class Master degree in Life Sciences/Pharmacology/Biotechnology /Biochemistry from recognized University with eight years R & D/teaching experience in the above subject after 1st class master's degree or Second class M.Sc + PhD degree in Life Sciences/Pharmacology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry from a recognized university with eight years R & D teaching experience in the above subject after M.Sc + PhD
- Preferred : Doctorate degree in the relevant subjects from a recognized University. Persons having experience in Laboratory animals
- Age : Not exceeding 45 years. Relaxable upto 5 years for Government servants and SC/ST/OBC candidates SC/ST/OBC in accordance with the instructions issued by the department of personnel and training from time to time in this regard
- Salary : Rs 56000/- om
Job Responsibilities :
- Scientist D will help in the overall development of the state of the art small animal house facility to be developed at RMRC, Dibrugarh and will actively involve from pre-construction, construction and post construction phases
- Help in development of SOPs for following: Restraining and handling small lab animals, holding and transportaion of small animals, marking
different species of lab animals, measurement and sampling of experimental animals, routine procedures like analgesia, anaesthesia, surgery, euthanasia, experimental guidelines,animal and veterinary care, occupational health and safety
- Will get engaged in organizing trainings and programs
- Will also help researchers in carrying out specific research activities programs
- Will get involved in routine monitoring of the laboratory animals and

- Desired Profile : First class Master degree in Life Sciences/Pathology/Physiology/ Pharmacology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry from recognized University with four years R & D/teaching experience in the above subject after 1st class master's degree or Second class M.Sc + PhD degree in Life Sciences/Pharmacology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry from a recognized university with four years R & D teaching experience in the above subject after M.Sc + PhD
- Preferred : Doctorate degree in the relevant subjects from a recognized University. Persons having experience in Laboratory animals

Job Responsibilities :
- One Scientist C will take care of routine health monitoring of different strains of small laboratory animals
- He will also help in training and deveelopment of skilled manpower for care,
maintenance and handling of laboratory mice,hamsters, guinea pigs,rabbits and rats
- He will also helop researchers in carrying out specific research activities programs
- He will also check whether all the ethical rules are followed and animals are carefully handled
- Another Scientist C will take care of genetic monitoring and quality control of all inbred and outbred strain of lab animals
