Rajendra Memorial Research Institute of Medical Sciences (RMRIMS), Patna was established in the memory of the First President of Republic of India Deshratna Dr. Rajendra Prasad in the year 1963 with Asthma as its mandate. It was taken over by Indian Council of Medical Research, New Delhi on 1st April, 1984 under Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India and thereafter the main thrust area is Visceral Leishmaniasis (Kala-azar)
Rajendra Memorial Research Institute of Medical Sciences, Patna, a permanent Institute under Indian Council of Medical Research, Deptt. of Health Research, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India, invites applications from suitable Indian Nationals for appointment on the following Purely temporary posts (on contractual basis) under the project entitled “Prevalence of pulmonary tuberculosis with drug resistance amongst the tribal and non tribal population of Bihar” sponsored by Indian Council of Medical Research, New Delhi.
- Position : Tribal Unit Consultant
- No of Vacancy : One
- Age : Upto 65 years
- Desired Profile : Master or equivalent degree in Life Sciences and minimum of two years experience in the relevant area.
- Preferred : Experience at managerial level in Tribal areas will be preferable
- Job REquirement : Co-ordination of project in Tribal and non-tribal areas of Bihar with relation of Prevalence of Pulmonary tuberculosis with drug resistance.
- Pay/Month : Rs. 40,000.00 (fixed) Consolidated
- Position : Research Assistant
- No of Vacancy : One
- Age : Upto 30 years
- Desired Profile : Master or equivalent degree with
one year laboratory experience of M. tuberculosis work.
- Preferred : Experience of laboratory work on tuberculosis will be preferable
- Job Requirement : Extensive research work (Culture & DST from sputum samples) on tuberculosis patients.
- Pay/Month : Rs. 25,650.00 (fixed) Consolidated
