The Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC) is the state-of-the-art R&D satellite of the Tata Memorial Centre (TMC), which also includes under its umbrella the Tata Memorial Hospital (TMH), the largest cancer hospital in Asia. ACTREC has the mandate to function as a national centre for treatment, research and education in cancer. TMC is an autonomous grant-in-aid institution of the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India. 

Walk in Interview for Junior Research Fellow at ACTREC, Mumbai

  • Project title : Three dimensional Structures of Biological macromolecules
  • PI : Dr. M.V. Hosur
  • Position :JRF
  • No of Post : One
  • Desired Profile : Master’s degree in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology and Biological sciences from a recognized university with not less that 65% aggregate marks. Minimum one year experience in in gene cloning, gene expression, Protein purification, Protein crystallization and Protein crystallography
  • Job description:   Cloning, expression, purification and crystallisation of proteins. X-ray diffraction data collection, Structure determination and crystallographic refinement
  • Stipend : Rs. 20,800/- p.m
