The National Institute of Biomedical Genomics (NIBMG) has been established as an autonomous institution by the Government of India, under the aegis of the Department of Biotechnology. This is the first institution in India explicitly devoted to research, training, translation & service and capacity-building in biomedical genomics.
- Project Description: Molecular epidemiology of HPV and cervical cancer in Tripura: genetic variations influencing HPV persistence and disease development. The position is contractual and appointment will be initially given for six months which is extendable depending upon performance, availability of funds and requirements of the institute.

- Desired Profile : M.Sc. in Biochemistry/Zoology/ Microbiology/molecular biology/ Genetics/ Biophysics/ Biotechnolgy
- Preferred : Some experience in DNA/RNA isolation and conducting PCR based experiments
- Pay : Rs 8000/- pm
