Ultimate fourteen positions for JRF in DST project at Madras University

The Public Petition dated 11-11-1839 initiated the establishment of Madras University.The University imparts both Under Graduate and Post Graduate Education through the Affiliated Institutions which are spread over the districts of Chennai, Thrivallur and Kancheepuram. Apart from teaching, research activities in Arts, Humanities, Science, Management and Technology are the main portals at the University. 

Applications are invited for JRF positions in all science departments under DST-PURSE program

• Position : JRF
• No of Post : Fourteen
• Streams : M.Sc in Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Botany/Zoology/Medical Biochemistry/Microbiology /Pharmacology
• Stipend : Rs.16000 + 30% HRA (for NET qualified) and Rs.14000 + 30% HRA (for Non-NET candidates) for the first two years

Those who are interested and have a PG degree in the concerned/relevant subject can send their application along with bio-data and attestedcopies of mark sheets to the respective Heads of the Departments on or before 31-10-2014
