The National Institute of Immunology (NII) is an autonomous institution supported by the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India. The Institute is committed to advanced research addressing the basic mechanisms involved in body's defence, host-pathogen interactions and related areas with a view to contribute to the creation of an internationally competitive intellectual knowledge base as a sustainable source of innovative futuristic modalities of potential use in health care.
Applications are invited for the position of Senior Research Fellow/Junior Research Fellow for the following time-bound sponsored project as per the details given below:
- Project detail : “Comparative analysis of extrinsic signals in bone marrow during marrow regeneration and maintenance phase” funded by SERB
- PI : Dr. Asok Mukhopadhyay / Staff Scientist-VII / ashok@nii.ac.in
- Position : JRF/SRF
- No of Post : One
- Desired Profile :M.Sc. / M. Tech or equivalent degree in the Biological sciences. Candidate should have 2 years relevant experience in the field of biological research.
- Preferred : Candidates should have experience in animal cell culture, animal handling, flow-Cytometry, RT-PCR, immunocytochemistry. Candidates experience with hematopoietic system, cell signalling and liver biology will be beneficial for this work
Stipend :
- Senior Research Fellow: Rs. 18,000/- per month consolidated + 30% HRA (for NET/GATE/Leading to Ph.D Qualified depending upon qualifications & Experience) Otherwise Rs. 14,000/- per month consolidated +30% HRA.
- Junior Research Fellow: Rs. 16,000/- per month consolidated + 30% HRA (for NET/GATE/Leading to Ph.D Qualified depending upon qualifications & Experience) Otherwise Rs. 12,000/- per month consolidated +30% HRA
