Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad, Allahabad (MNNIT) is an Institute with total commitment to quality and excellence in academic pursuits. It was established as one of the seventeen Regional Engineering Colleges of India in the year 1961 as a joint enterprise of Government of India and Government of Uttar Pradesh, and was an associated college of University of Allahabad, which is the third oldest university in India.

Discipline :
- B.Tech. or equivalent in Biotechnology.
- M.Tech. or equivalent in Biotechnology / Biochemical Engineering.
- Bachelor Degree in Science. M.Sc. or equivalent in Biotechnology / Applied Biological sciences (Microbiology, Biochemistry, Genetics, molecular biology, Pharmacy, Bioinformatics, Biophysics, Agricultural Botany, Life Science, Zoology or equivalent).
- Ph.D. in appropriate discipline
Filled-in application form must be submitted with the following documents:
- Duly signed and filled-in downloaded Application Form and Summary Sheet [in original].
- Signature of the applicant with date on all pages of the Application Form and Summary Sheet is mandatory.
- A self attested recent passport size photographpasted on the Application Form.
- Self attested photocopies of testimonials, certificates and all enclosures in support of claims made in the Application Form.
- Detailed list of publications with reprints of papers published in SCI journals outside Ph.D. work, where applicable.
- Detailed list of PG thesis supervised and UG Projects guided giving name of student, branch, year and title of the thesis/project.
- Application fees in the form of demand draft of `500/- for UR&OBC [Non-Creamy layer] candidates only in favour of DIRECTOR, MNNIT Allahabad payable at Allahabad. No application fees is required from SC / ST and PWD candidates
- Superscribe the covering envelop of your application with the Advertisement Number, the position and the department/school/cell applied for.
