Central Food Technological Research Institute(CFTRI), Mysore (A constituent laboratory of Council of Scientific and Industrial research, New Delhi) came into existence during 1950 with the great vision of its founders, and a network of inspiring as well as dedicated scientists who had a fascination to pursue in-depth research and development in the areas of food science and technology.
Central Food Technological Research Institute, a constituent establishment of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, Government of India wishes to recruit eligible candidates for 4 (FOUR) positions of Project Assistants (PA-II) on temporary basis in the research projects of XII five year plan “ New Initiatives to Boost Agriculture Productivity Through Maximizing Pre and Post-harvest Yields (BSC-0105, Agropathy) ” at CSIR-CFTRI, Mysore.
- Position : Project Assistants (PA-II)
- No of Post : Four
- Essential Qualification : First Class M.Sc. in any of the following subject areas: Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Bioscience, Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Nutrition, Microbiology, Molecular Genetics, Botany, Zoology or similar subjects or First Class M.Tech/B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent in Chemical Engineering/Biotechnology/ Biochemical Engineering or similar subjects.
- Emoluments : A Consolidated Salary of Rs 12,000 per month will be paid.
Terms & Conditions :
- Candidates should not have exceeded 28 years of age as on the last date of receiving the applications. Age relaxation as applicable by Gov. of India rules for SC/ST/OBC and women candidate will be considered.
- The engagement of Project Assistant is exclusively for the above mentioned project.
- The engagement will be contractual and on purely temporary basis.
- The engagement under the externally funded project does not confer any right / claim whatsoever either explicitly or implicitly on the appointee for regular appointment in CSIR/CFTRI, against any post or otherwise under any legal conditions precedent.
- No TA/DA will be given to the candidates for attending the interview.
