The Directorate of Mushroom Research is located in Solan city of Himachal Pradesh, endeared as the gateway of Himachal Pradesh, the mountainous wonder of Solan city is famous for its cultural splendor, excellent picnic spots, numerous old temples and seasonal vegetable crops. Being quite industrialized, Solan is widely popular for its mushroom cultivation and bearing the title of “Mushroom City of India”.
Walk in Interview will be held at 11.00 AM on 01.10.14 to select one candidate for the post of RA in the ITMU project "Intellectual property management and transfer/commercialization of agricultural technology scheme"

- Emoluments : Rs 23000/- + 10% HRA for M.Sc candidates and Rs 24000/- + 10% HRA for PhD candidates
- Age : 40 years for men and 45 years for women (Relaxation as per GOI rules)
- Desired Profile :M.Sc in Agriculture/Horticulture/Plant Breeding and Genetics/Plant Biotechnology/Mycology and Plant Pathology/Microbiology with 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average or PhD degree in the relevant subject
The desirous candidates may appear for interview at 11.00 AM on 01.10.14. The desirous candidate may send their application form in advance to Admn Officer. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. The selection will be mainly on the basis of interview and all the candidates have to appear for interview and they will not be called separately for the interview.
