Sugarcane Breeding Institute, Coimbatore, India, one of the pioneering Sugarcane breeding institutes in the world was established in 1912, with the main objective of evolving superior varieties of sugarcane suitable for various agro climatic zones in India.

It is proposed to fill up one post of "Project Fellow" under the SERB-DST project entitled "DNA finger printing of Saccharum officinarum clones using simple sequence repeat markers" by Walk in Interview at Sugarcane Breeding Institute, Research Centre, Kannur, 23.09.14 at 9.00 AM

• Desired Profile : First class in M.Sc (Agri) specialized in Biotechnology (Plant Biotechnology)/ molecular biology and Biotechnology), Biochemistry, M.ScBiotechnology/Biochemistry or M.Sc in an Life Sciences course with specialization in Biochemistry/Biotechnology or M.TechBiotechnology
• Remuneration : Rs 12000/- + 10% HRA
• Age : 30 years for men and 35 years for women
