Walk in Interview for JRF post in Immunology project at IIAR

IIAR is envisioned to be a state of the art research center for achieving excellence in  identified crucial areas of science and technology.School of Biological Science and Biotechnology is the first center of excellence which has been established. The institute is fully supported by Puri Foundation for Education in India. IIAR is offering Post-Doctoral, Doctoral and Post-graduate academic programs in frontier areas of biology. The national funding agencies like DBT, DST, etc., fund many research projects.

Walk-in Interview for the position of JRF in a DBT-sponsored project “Modulation of TLR5 mediated T regulatory functions in cholera vaccine reactogenicity” with Dr. Reena Rajput, Immunology Lab, Department of Human Health and Diseases, IIAR.

• Position : JRF (One post)              
• Fellowship : Rs. 12,000 + 10% HRA
• Desired Profile : Post graduation with minimum 55% marks in any discipline related to Life Sciences (Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Zoology, Microbiology, Biochemistry etc). Candidates having cleared CSIR-NET/GATE will be preferred. 
• Age limit : As per government rule.

• Preferred : Candidates should have good knowledge of Immunology/Cell Biology/molecular biology. Experience in animal cell culture and immunological techniques is desirable.

General Conditions: 

• The appointment will be initially for a period of six months and extended further depending upon satisfactory performance of the incumbent.
• The engagement for the projects is purely on temporary basis and is co-terminus with the project. 
• It is not an appointment with the institute and will not confer any right to the incumbent to any claim implicit or explicit on any position. 
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Outstation candidates have to make their own arrangement for their stay.
