The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), New Delhi, the apex body in India for the formulation, coordination and promotion of biomedical research, is one of the oldest medical research bodies in the world.

Walk-in-Interview at National Institute of Pathology-ICMR, Safdarjang Hospital Campus, New Delhi-110029 at 10.00 AM on 26-9-2014 for the following posts in the following ICMR funded project under Dr. Nasreen Z Ehtesham, Scientist F & Principal Investigator

• Project Title : “Understanding the role of micronutrients in Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection using guinea pig as a model”
• Post : Research Assistant (One) @ Rs.27000/- P.M. (Consolidated)
• Duration : 3 years
• Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 yrs. Relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC candidates in accordance with the instruction s issued by the Department of Personnel & Training from time to time in this regard.
• Desired Profile : The candidate must have a Masters degree in any area of life Sciences. Should have throughout first class and experience with animal handling and dissection.

• Preferred : Candidate with research experience of at least 3 years after Masters or PhD degree with good working knowledge of basic molecular biology techniques such as animal cell tissue culture, flowcytometry and biophysical techniques is desirable. This may be evident by publications in peer review journals.

Please bring CV and all the original certificates and a set of attested copies of certificates on the day of interview. All Candidates must bring Class 10th Certificate as a proof of age & Caste certificate to avail age relaxation. Those candidates who will not bring these documents will not be entertained. Those candidates who are working in Govt. Organizations/Public undertaking/autonomous body should bring a No Objection Certificate from his/her employer. It may be noted that no TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. It may also be noted that there is no provision of hostel facility at the National Institute of Pathology
