Jaypee Institute inviting application for JRF post | Freshers apply

Jaypee University commenced academic activities from July 2002 with undergraduate B.Tech. degree programs in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, Bioinformatics, and Civil Engineering. It aims to instill the habit of life-long learning and therefore, provides a learner-centric rather than a teacher-centric educational process.

Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow for the following timebound sponsored project as per the details given below:

  • Project Title : Ability of select PGPM strains to remediate organophosphate pesticides commonly used in Agriculture
  • PI : Dr. S Krishna Sundari, Associate Professor, Biotechnology department, JIIT
  • Position :JRF (one)
  • Duration of the appointment : Initially for one year. May be continued subject to performance, other conditions.
  • Emoluments : 18,000/- fixed per month (consolidated)
  • Desired Profile : MSc in Life Sciences/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology. Preference will be given to CSIR /UGC/ JRF/NET qualified candidates. However, Non-NET qualified candidates can also apply.
  • Job Description : The project involves microbial physiology, study of Enzymes involved in degradation, molecular characterization, pesticide residue analysis etc. Updated resume including a cover letter (preferably by e.mail) should be mailed at dean.ar@jiit.ac.in and for any clarification to Dr. Krishna Sundari at krishna.sundari@jiit.ac.in on or before February 17th, 2014.
