Advertisement for DBT-RGYI-JRF position at Kakatiya University

Kakatiya University was established on 19th August, 1976 to fulfil the aspirations of the Telangana people for higher education. The founding of the University was in fact a historic event in the sense that heralded a new era in the realms of higher education of this region. The erstwhile Post-Graduate Centre of Osmania University was upgraded and named Kakatiya University.

Applications are invited for One (1) post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a DBT sponsored Rapid Grant for Young Investigator (RGYI) research project at the Department of Biochemistry, Kakatiya University. The appointment will be on purely temporary basis for a period of one year. Based on performance, the appointment could be extended till the end of project duration.

Desired Profile : M. Sc. (any branch of Life Sciences) or M. Tech & B.Tech. (Biotechnology) with a good academic record. CSIR-UGC NET qualified individuals will be preferred. In addition to the minimum qualifications, knowledge of basic cell culture, Biochemistry and/or molecular biology techniques is desirable. Prior experience of working in the related field at any of the national laboratories will be advantageous.

Pay : Rs. 16,000 p.m. + HRA
