The Head, Division of Genetics, IARI, New Delhi intends to recruit personnel for the post of Senior Research Fellow in the following ICAR funded project purely on contractual basis. Details of the position are given below :
Position : Senior Research Fellow

Project name : ICAR Network Project on `Transgenics in crop plants (Maize Functional Genomics Component)'
Salary : Rs. 16,000 + 30% HRA
Eligibility : Master's degree in Genetics/Plant breeding/ Biotechnology/Plant molecular biology /Botany/Biochemistry/Bioinformatics/Equivalent degree.
Desirable : Experience in molecular markers, gene expression assays, high throughput marker data generation, Bioinformatics in crops and animals.
Age : Not more than 35 years. Age relaxation of five years for SC/ST & women and three years for
OBC
Duration : One Year, which may be extended periodically subjected to performance till the termination of the project.
