The Export Inspection Council (EIC) was set up by the Government of India under Section 3 of the Export (Quality Control and Inspection) Act, 1963 (22 of 1963), in order to ensure sound development of export trade of India through Quality Control and Inspection and for matters connected thereof.Besides its advisory role, the Export Inspection Council, also exercises technical and administrative control over the five Export Inspection Agencies (EIAs), one each at Channai, Delhi, Kochi, Kolkata and Mumbai established by the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India, under Section 7 of the Act for the purpose of implementing the various measures and policies formulated by the Export Inspection Council of India.
- Position : Research Assistants
- Desired Profile : M.Sc/B.Sc in Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry/Applied Chemistry/Bio Analytical Science /Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/Biosciences.
- Experience :M.Sc (with 1 Year experience)/B.Sc (with two year experience) in laboratory testing, experience in sample extraction / analysis of residues in fish and other food products/analysis of wet chemistry/ analysis of Microbiology.
- Age limit : (as on 20/02/2014) not more than 30 years.
- Salary : Rs.15,000 pm (consolidated)
- Period of contract : Eleven months liable to the extended
- Position : Trainee analysts
- Desired Profile : M.Sc/B.Sc in Bio Analytical Science /Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biosciences.
- Experience : M.Sc (Fresher)/B.Sc (with 1-2 year experience) in laboratory testing, experience in sample extraction / analysis of residues in fish and other food products/analysis of wet chemistry/ analysis of Microbiology.
- Age limit : (as on 20/02/2014) not more than 30 years.
- Salary : Rs.12,000 pm (consolidated)
- Period of contract : Eleven months liable to the extended
Selection Procedure :
