Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research originated as École de Médicine de Pondichérry established by the French Government in the year 1823. This medical school was converted into Dhanvantari Medical College at the time of de facto transfer of Pondicherry to Government of India. This Medical College was later upgraded into Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER).
Applications are invited from qualified candidates for the following post under the ICMR research project.
- Project title :“Evaluation of high frequency ultrasound and biomarkers for the diagnosis and management of type 1 lepra reaction.”
- Position : Research Assistant
- No. of post : One (Temporary)
- Duration : Time bound for a period of 1 year (likely to continue beyond 1 year)
- Desired Profile : M.Sc. (Medical Biochemistry/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/MLT/ Life Sciences/ M.Tech (Biotechnology)
- Experience : Candidates with experience in clinical research in immunodermatology with publications in the field and hands-on experience in immunological techniques will be preferred.
- Age limit : Upper age limit 28 years. Age limit relaxable for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Govt. rules
- Salary : As per ICMR rules.
