CSIR-Advanced Materials and Processes Research Institute (AMPRI), Bhopal was instituted in May 1981 as “Regional Research Laboratory” (RRL) and officially started functioning from CSIR, New Delhi. The institute was then shifted to Bhopal and was located in the then Bhopal (now Barkatullah) University campus. It subsequently found a place in the present premises in December 1983; the premise which was originally built to accommodate a Cooperative Training College. The laboratory initially had about 15 scientists, with 10 of them specializing in metallurgy/materials science.
Two purely temporary and contractual positions of Sr. Project Fellows / Project Fellows under a time targeted project upto August 2014 (extendable) are being filled up at CSIR-AMPRI, Bhopal as follows :
1. Job Title : Project Fellow
Qualifications :M.Sc in Microbiology/ Biotechnology with chemistry as a major in B. Sc with minimum 55% marks and CSIR - National Eligibility Test (NET) qualified.
Age Limit : 28 years
2. Job Title : Sr. Project Fellow
Qualification : M. Sc in Microbiology/ Biotechnology with chemistry as major in B. Sc with minimum 55% marks and 2 years post M. Sc research experience plus one publication in SCI journal.
Age Limit : 32 years
