- Job Profile : Person would be closely involved with Centre for Mycorrhizal Research Area. The Centre for Mycorrhizal Research (CMR) at The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) promotes cost-effective, environmental friendly alternatives to ensure higher plant productivity in marginal lands, unproductive lands, reclaimed lands and wastelands created by the industry. The Centre uses a beneficial group of microorganisms, known as mycorrhizal fungi, which form association with the roots of higher plants and has established their worth globally. In all its activities dedicated to technology innovation, the centre consciously builds in comprehensive dimensions that are environment-friendly, natural resource conserving, and people-oriented.
- Desired Profile : M.Sc. in Botany/Microbiology/Biotechnology/Life Sciences/Molecular Microbiology
- Skills : Basic and practical knowledge on molecular biology tools. Gene cloning and expression studies.Basic and practical knowledge on fungal and bacterial taxonomy. Basic and practical knowledge on basic microbiological techniques
