Application is invited for the post of one Research Associate / Senior Research Fellow under the project -C: DR: RKVY-6: Evaluation of different diagnostic tests for the development of suitable strategy in diagnosis of Mycobacterial infections (Bovine Tuberculosis and Johne's disease) in Cattle and Buffaloes in different agro-climate zones of Punjab. The appointment is purely temporary and on contractual basis for six months subject to the condition of satisfacton performance for renewal and will be liable for termination at any time in case of unsatisfactory performance. There is no provision for absorption/re¬employment in GA DVASU after termination of the time bound project.

Essential Qualifications:
- B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree. B.Sc in any relevant field of Life Science/Biological sciences with at least 2nd class
- M.V.Sc. and/or Ph. D. degree in any discipline of Veterinary Science with at least 65% marks or OCPA of 6.50 out of 10 or equivalent Or M.Sc and/or PhD degree in Microbiology. Zoology. Biochemistry and Biotechnology with at least 65% marks or OCPA of 6.50 out of 10 or equivalent.
- Preference will be given to the candidate holding B.V Sc. & A.H degre
- Two experience in the relevant field for Master's degree holder will be considered if Ph. D. candidate is not available for the post of Research Associate
- Matric level certificate of Punjabi language (The condition of Punjabi Language is relaxed in case the candidate is found otherwise suitable)

Emoluments : Rs 23000/- pm + HRA (For M.Sc) | Rs 24000/- pm + HRA (For PhD)
