National Institute of Nutrition was established with a vision to enable food and nutrition security conducive to good health, growth & development and increase productivity through dedicated research, so as to achieve the national nutrition goals set by the government of India in the national nutrition policy.

Position : Research Associate
Project Title:"Screening iron zinc and carotenoid bioavailability from biofortified staple crops using coupled in vitro digestion/caco-2 cell model"
No of Post : One
Desired Profile : PhD in Life Sciences or Post Graduate in Biochemistry/Biotechnology/ Microbiology related area Life Sciences and 3 years research experience after PG with publications in peer review journals
Preferred : Experience in cell culture use of radio isotopes, counters, RIA and elisa techniques
Age : As per ICMR guidelines
Emoluments : Rs 36,000 + HRA per month fixed without any other allowances
Tenure : Initially for one year and extendable
