Invites applications from Indian nationals who are bright, talented, highly motivated for independent research and also committed to teaching, for the position of Visiting Scientist in the subjects/areas mentioned below.
The Centre is temporarily located in Tezpur University campus.
Required : The applicant, preferably below 32 years, must have a Ph. D. degree or have submitted his/her thesis in any of the relevant subjects/areas mentioned below.
Fellowship : Expected consolidated fellowship is Rs.32,500 ( for those who have submitted theses but the degree is awaited) and between Rs. 39,000 - Rs.52,000 based on academic qualifications, publications and experiences.
Tenure : The tenure of the offer is initially for one year, but extendable subject to performance. Limited accommodation in the campus may be provided subject to availability.
Eligiblity : PhD in Biological sciences, Statistics and Mathematics, and their applications in Social Sciences, Physics and Earth Sciences, and Computer Science.
