Manipal University invites applications for the following positions for the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Maryland, USA funded project titled ‘Genetic Diagnosis of Heritable Neurodevelopmental Disorders in India: Investigating the Use of Whole Exome Sequencing and Genetic Counseling to Address the High Burden of Neurodevelopmental Disorders’ at the Department of Medical Genetics, Kasturba Medical College, Manipal University, Manipal.
- Positions: I.
Bioinformatician– 01 position
Desired Qualification: M.Sc. (Bioinformatics), or M.Sc. (Computer Science) or M.Sc. (Biotechnology) or equivalent qualification with training/experience in Bioinformatics.
Remuneration: Rs. 30,000 per month
- Position II.
Genetic counselor– 01 position
Qualification: M.Sc. (Genetic Counseling) or equivalent qualification or MSc in Biological sciences with minimum one year training in genetic counseling.
Remuneration: Rs. 24,000 per month
Duration: 24 Months
