The Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI) at Izatnagar was initially established as the Imperial Bacteriological Laboratory in 1889 for conducting research for the protection of Indian livestock wealth from the dreaded diseases. It is India's premier advanced research facility in the field of veterinary medicine and allied branches.

Nature of Job: To provide technical support to scientists in research activities
Eligibility : Graduates/diploma holders in Agricultural Science or allied subjects such as Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, etc.
Experience : 1 Year
Age limit : Minimum 21 and Maximum 45 years (age relaxation to SC/ST & OBC candidates as per rules)
Duration : 12 months, extendable to a maximum of another term on need basis of the Institute and Satisfactory performance of the candidate. The engagement will be liable for termination at any time in case of unsatisfactory performance and there will be no provision for absorption/reemployment in IVRI after completion of the term.
Emoluments : Rs.15,000/- (Fixed)
Walk-In details : Candidates are required to bring full bio-data duly affixed with recent passport size Photograph along with original & photocopies of testimonials/experience etc. Original Documents will be checked at the time of interview. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
