Central Institute of Brackish water Aquaculture (CIBA) serves as the nodal agency for the development of brackishwater aquaculture in the country. The Headquarters of the Institute is located at Chennai with an Experimental Field Station at Muttukadu, about 30 km south of Chennai. The Institute has one Research Centre at Kakdwip in West Bengal.
The Director, Central Institute of Brackishwater Aquaculture, (ICAR), Chennai- 28 invites applications for the following posts from the eligible candidates for CIBA, Chennai under the administrative control of ICAR.
Job Title: Laboratory Technician (Category- II)
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade pay Rs. 2800

Age limit: 18-30 years
Eligibility:
- Bachelor's degree in Biological sciences including Fisheries
- One year experience in the relevant field/ laboratory/ hatchery/ aquaculture farm is preferable.
- Working knowledge in computer is desirable.
