Central Drug Research Institute is one of the first and few laboratories that were established in India right after its independence. CDRI is among the thirty eight laboratories that are functioning under the aegis of the council of scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) of India headed by the Prime Minister of the nation as its president.
Walk-in-interview for engagement of Project Staff under different Projects to be held on 29-12-2015 as per the details given below :
Project title 1 : DST (GAP0185) “E3 ubiquitin ligases in breast cancer: Identification of novel interacting proteins of E3 ubiquitin ligase E6AP from breast cancer cells.”
- Position : Project JRF
- No of Post : One
- Desired Profile : M.Sc. in Life Sciences with 55% marks for Gen. & OBC and 50% marks for SC/ST candidates, Physically and Visually handicapped candidates with JRF NET qualified
- Preferred : Experience in mammalian cell culture, basic cell and molecular biology techniques such as western blotting, PCR and Protein expression analysis. Expertise in gene annotation, gene cloning, site directed mutagenesis, qPCR and proteomics shall be preferred.
- Emoluments : Rs. 16,000 p.m. for first & Rs. 18,000 p.m. for 2nd &3rd year plus 20% HRA.

Project title 2 : DBT (GAP0135)“Studies on effect of different herbal preparations on wound healing and angiogenesis"
- Position : Project JRF
- No of Post : One
- Desired Profile : M.Sc. in Life Sciences with 55% marks for Gen. & OBC and 50% marks for SC/ST candidates, Physically and Visually handicapped candidates with JRF/SRF is NET/GATE/BET/ BINC OR M.Sc. in Life Sciences with 55% marks for Gen. & OBC and 50% marks for SC/ST candidates, Physically and Visually handicapped candidates
- Preferred : Experience in animal cell culture work, molecular biology techniques and animal handling.
- Emoluments : JRF emoluments shall be Rs. 16,000+HRA for the 1st two years and Rs. 18,000+ HRA for the 3rd year for SRF and applicable, only if JRF/SRF is NET/ GATE/ BET/BINC qualified, Otherwise it shall be Rs. 12,000+ HRA for the 1st two years for JRF and Rs. 14,000+HRA for the 3rd year for SRF

Project title 3 : MoES (GAP0118) “Biological evaluations, discovery of novel bioactive compounds & coordination of the MoES project” “Drugs from Sea.”
- Position : Project Assistant

- Desired Profile : M.Sc. in Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology with 55% marks for Gen. & OBC and 50% marks for SC/ST candidates, Physically and Visually handicapped candidates

Project title 4 :CSIR (BSC0114) “Host Interactome analysis: Understanding the Role of Host molecules in Parasitic Infection (HOPE).

How to apply :
Eligible Candidates should submit their applications online before 28.12.2015 upto 5:00 p.m. and report for the Interview at 9:00 A.M. sharp on 29.12.2015 at CDRI, B.S. 10/1, Sector 10, Jankipuram Extension, Sitapur Road, Lucknow-226031. Candidates reporting after 10:00 A.M will not be allowed to attend the interview. The Candidates must bring with them print out of online application form duly signed along with Original certificates as well as self-attested copies of certificates of examinations starting from matriculation & date of birth certificate, caste certificate (in case of SC/ST/OBC) experience certificate, publication, if any and recent passport size photograph etc. Original documents are essential for verification of the particulars quoted by the candidate in the application form and candidates who fail to produce original documents at the time of verification, shall not be allowed to attend the interview. Any request for relaxation in this regard shall not be entertained
