Jawaharlal Nehru University, also known as JNU, is a public central university in New Delhi, India. In 2012, The National Assessment and Accreditation Council gave the university a grade of 3.9 out of 4, the highest grade awarded to any educational institution in the country.University is organised into ten schools, each of which has several centres, as well as four independent special centres. The objective of the founders was to make the university a premier institution of higher learning and to promote research and teaching leading to the increasing engagement of its students and teachers in higher level academic work and national and international policy making.
Applications are invited for the following purely temporary posts in the Sponsored Projects funded by the indicated funding agency. The details are as follows:
Position : Research Associate
No of Post : One
Project : DBT sponsored project entitled "Entmoeba histolytica bacterium interaction and the role of this interaction in intestinal pathogenesis -AMOEBAC"
Salary : Rs.38000.00 + HRA
Desired Profile : Possessing Ph.D. in Parasitology or Gut Microbiology or equivalent degree in related area.
Preferred : Candidate with prior work experience in the field of E. histolytica epidemiology and gut flora will be preferred.
