The Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur is a public engineering, management and law institution established by the government of India in 1951. The first of the IITs to be established, it is recognized as an Institute of National Importance by the government of India. Desired Profile : RA: PhD or First class Master degree in Science in Botany/Microbiology/ Biochemistry (passed through regular courses) or First class Bachelor and Master degrees in Chemical engineering/Biochemical engineering from reputed Institutions. At least three years research experience (as evidenced by published articles in peer reviewed journals of global reputation) of working in a reputed laboratory, having investigated on in vitro aseptic culture techniques (plant/animal/microbial cells), analysis of bio-molecules and their bioseparations by advanced chromatographic techniques/ molecular characterizations by mass spectroscopy/ scale up of bioprocesses etc.; PA :Bachelor degree in Science in any branch of Biological sciences (passed through regular courses). At least five years experience of working in a reputed laboratory, having hands on training on in vitro aseptic culture techniques (plant/animal/microbial cells), analysis of bio-molecules and their purifications etc
